We had an amazing experience finding this little gem while waiting on our Circle Line cruise. We got the Fish and Chips and it is easily one of my favorites I've ever had. The service was exceptional and the vibe in the little pub is amazing. So glad we found this little place.

Personally this was the best food I’ve ever had not just in New York but in the whole US. Before this the best I’d ever tasted was the Dungeness crab sandwich at Ettas in Seattle. But Landmark Tavern has finally surpassed that. Every dish was delicious but the shepards pie was truly the best meal of my life. On top of that everyone at the restaurant was incredibly kind and attentive. I’m grateful for the month I spent here. Thank you to everyone.

Outstanding fish and chips and guinness. Service could have been a bit more efficient, especially since the place was kind of empty when I was there, but small gripe. This is a great place, order the fish and chips and get a guinness, it will not disappoint!

Two in our party have celiac disease so we have to eat strictly gluten free which I wasn’t expecting to find at a tavern. Our pleasant server recommended the fresh grilled fish. We had fresh grilled halibut, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies. It was amazing! We will be back!

I have been semi regularly coming to landmark for almost two years and on Monday’s. The classic decor on the outside and from when you walk in the bar, you feel as if you stepped back in time to the late 1800’s when this bar was first established. The dark decor give it a grimy but cool layout, Mondays, they usually have a band in the back playing Irish music. Though this place is a bar, they have some solid food options. I usually get the fish & chips and to be honest, it’s amongst the best in the city. So much flavor and with a side of salad to keep it extra flavorful. The bangers and mash are also a bar classic if you’re more on the heavy side of a meal. I am not a big beer drinker; however, when I go to Landmark, I must always get the “Landmark Ale”. It’s a perfect light side beer and just hits well after one of their classic meals. Peter has been there for quite some time and usually looks out with a round on the house before I leave at the end of the night. If you want to feel as if you’re stepping back in time, not be bothered and just enjoy a beer while watching a game? Head to Landmark. The draft beers, fish and chips do not disappoint and more importantly, it’s a price of NYC as well as Hell’s Kitchen history.

I stopped in today while I was in the area since I had this restaurant on my radar for a while, and I love visiting places that have a long history. I was greeted and served by Pratap, and he was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage, and it was very good. The Corned Beef was really the star of the dish as it was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth. The menu isn't too large, but it looks like the portions are very generous for the prices. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place where it gives off a classic pub look. I definitely recommend it as this is one of those places that is great for a quick bite, a date night, or just grab a couple of drinks.
